Terms of use, and the limits of what this site tells you

The guidance here is general and the arithmetic on your site is specific. Where those two disagree, your site wins — and this page explains where the line sits.

Summary

This site is not a quotation
Nothing here is an offer or a price. Quotations follow a site assessment.
Figures carry dates
Tariff and buyback figures are dated because the regime changes.
The contract is separate
Your project is governed by its own written scope and terms, not by this site.
Content is mine
Read it, quote it with attribution, but do not republish it as your own.

This site exists to explain a way of working clearly enough that a stranger can judge it. It is a publication, not a contract, and this page marks where one ends and the other starts.

Nothing here is a quotation or an offer

Capacities, cost structures, payback ranges and timelines described on this site are general guidance drawn from delivered work. They are not a price, not an offer capable of acceptance, and not a commitment to any particular outcome on your site.

A real figure for your project comes after a site assessment — twelve months of your bills, your sanctioned load and phase, and a look at your roof. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a sales device: a capacity quoted without those things is a guess dressed as a quotation, and I would rather say so than produce one.

How to treat the figures

Where this site states a tariff, a buyback rate or a payback period, it carries the date it was last verified and the source it came from. This is not decoration. The net billing regime changed in February 2026 and figures published before that are now simply wrong, which is the clearest possible demonstration of why an undated number is worthless.

  • Check the verification date before relying on any policy figure here. If it is old, ask me for a current one rather than assuming it still holds.
  • Generation data published on this site is measured output from a real plant, including its recorded downtime. It describes that plant on those dates and is not a prediction for yours.
  • Payback ranges depend on your tariff slab, your consumption pattern and your procurement. Two sites with identical systems can have materially different economics.
  • Where a figure belongs to a client rather than to my own measurements — a reported monthly saving, for instance — it is attributed as theirs rather than presented as an independent measurement.

Where the actual agreement lives

If we work together, that engagement is governed by a written scope agreed with you before work begins — what is included, what it costs, and what each stage delivers. That document governs the relationship. Nothing on this website varies it, adds to it, or overrides it.

The commercial terms described throughout this site — no margin taken on equipment, every original supplier invoice passed to you, the consultancy fee invoiced once the system is commissioned and generating — are the terms I work on and intend to be held to. They are restated in your written scope, which is where they become binding.

Equipment, manufacturers and other people's work

Manufacturer names appear on this site because I specify their products and clients are entitled to know what they are buying. That is not a partnership, a sponsorship or an endorsement in either direction, and I take no commission from any of them.

Equipment warranties are given by the manufacturers rather than by me — the warranty and support page sets out who covers what. Where this site links to an external page, that page is not under my control and I am not responsible for its content.

The writing on this site

The articles, guides and case studies here are my own work and remain my copyright. You are welcome to read them, send them to your engineer, and quote them in a conversation about your project — including quoting them at me. Quote with attribution and a link. Do not republish them as your own or feed them wholesale into a competing site.

Client names, project figures and site photographs belong to the clients, and appear here only where written consent is on file. If you are one of those clients and want something removed, say so and it comes down.

Jurisdiction

This site is operated from Lahore, Pakistan, and the work described on it is carried out in Pakistan under Pakistani law.

Questions

What people ask about this

Is the pricing described on this site a quotation?
No. The site describes a cost structure — equipment at wholesale with every original invoice shown, and a 4% consultancy fee invoiced once the system is commissioned — rather than a price. A figure for your project follows a site assessment, because a capacity or a cost quoted without twelve months of your bills and a look at your roof is a guess rather than a quotation.
Can I rely on the payback figures published here?
Treat them as a way to interrogate a quotation rather than as a prediction for your site. Payback depends on your tariff slab, your daytime consumption pattern and how the equipment was procured, and two sites with identical systems can differ materially. Every policy figure here carries the date it was verified — check it, and ask for a current number if it has aged.
What governs my project if I hire you?
A written scope agreed before any work begins, setting out what is included, what it costs and what each stage delivers. That document governs the engagement. Nothing on this website varies or overrides it — the site explains the way of working, and the scope is where it becomes binding.
Can I quote or republish content from this site?
Quote it with attribution and a link, including quoting it back at me or at another contractor — that is a good use of it. Do not republish articles as your own or reproduce them wholesale on a competing site. Client names, figures and photographs additionally belong to those clients and appear here only under written consent.
Does naming manufacturers mean you are partnered with them?
No. Manufacturer names appear because I specify their products and you are entitled to know what you are buying. There is no partnership, no sponsorship and no commission in either direction — which is exactly what makes the equipment page able to state where each product is the wrong choice.
