Electrical engineering background
A qualified electrical engineer. The relevant part is not the degree but where the years were spent: high-voltage substations, where protection coordination, earthing and the consequences of getting them wrong are the daily subject rather than an afterthought.

High-voltage substation experience
Substation work is where the habits come from: single-line diagrams as a matter of course, protection discrimination taken seriously, earthing designed rather than assumed. Most solar underperformance and nearly all solar danger in Pakistan traces back to those three being skipped.

Operating since 2022
Four years of delivered projects across Pakistan, industrial through domestic. Long enough for early installations to be into their fourth year — which is when structure, cable and workmanship decisions start to show.

4MW+ commissioned
Cumulative commissioned capacity across Pakistan, from 143 kW cold storage to a 1 MW food processing plant. The figure is capacity actually energised, not contracted or proposed.

Measured generation data, published with the downtime
The Simta Foods 1 MW plant record covers 9 May to 21 July 2026 — 68,317 kWh recorded, including twelve days when the inverters were off. The downtime is published rather than edited out, because a performance record showing only the good days is a brochure.

Commissioning to IEC 62116
Anti-islanding verification, string-level generation checks and documented test results at commissioning. You receive the commissioning certificate and the results rather than a verbal assurance that it was tested.

Published with client consent on file. Projects whose owners have not agreed in writing are not named here, which is why this list is shorter than the delivered record.
Questions
The ones worth asking any consultant
- What qualifications does the engineer have?
- A qualified electrical engineer with a background in high-voltage substations before moving into solar. Qualification and registration details are provided on request and are shown at the site assessment — I would rather hand them to you across a table than post scans of certificates on a website, where they prove considerably less than people assume.
- Why is the founder not named on the website?
- A current branding decision: the business is presented as YTECH SOLAR rather than around a personal name. It changes nothing about accountability — one engineer designs, commissions and answers for every project, and you deal with that person directly from the first phone call. You will know exactly who you are working with well before any money changes hands.
- How can I verify the 4MW+ figure?
- The published case studies carry individual capacities, cities and dates, and they add up rather than being a round number asserted at the top of a page. Beyond that, ask for client references in your own segment — I will put you in touch with owners directly rather than handing you a testimonial I wrote myself.
- Are you registered with AEDB or similar bodies?
- Registration and licensing details relevant to your project are provided at the assessment, along with confirmation of what is required for your specific connection and distribution company. Requirements differ by project scale and by DISCO, and it is worth establishing exactly which apply to you rather than treating a general claim as an answer.
- What happens if you stop trading?
- A fair question that almost nobody asks, and the reason the handover pack matters. Your equipment warranties are with the manufacturers rather than with me, your invoices are in the supplier own names, and your as-built drawings, test results and warranty register are documents you hold. Any competent engineer can pick up a system documented that way. A system with no drawings and no paperwork is the one that becomes stranded.
